Weekly Youth Meeting
6th - 12th grade youth meet every Wednesday at 6:30 PM for a meal and Bible Study. All youth are welcome. Meet at Ken and Donna Walker's home, 8 Bentwater Dr, Montgomery TX 77356. Please note: Entrance to Bentwater is restricted. If you are coming from outside Bentwater, just proceed to the West gate (right next to the North Shore Church). The security folks at that gate have been alerted that you are coming. Just tell them that you are going to Youth Bible Study at 8 Bentwood Drive and they should let you in with no problem. The response has been wonderful from those attending the class. This is a required class for every person desiring to be a part of the core and mission of North Shore Church. Our focus is not on just learning some foundational or possibly new information, but on knowing the God we profess, letting the Bible live in us we embrace, being a part of the Church of Jesus we’re participating in, and being a growing disciple of Jesus Christ so we can make disciples of others.

I am writing this e-mail to say “Thank You”. After completing the recent Foundation Class and the wonderful warm welcome I received this Sunday from my Christian brothers and sisters at North Shore Church I just wanted you to know what a joy it is to be involved with our church. I have shared my testimony with several at the church, and I accepted Christ as my Savior at a young age. As years have passed and having been involved with several churches in the different locations where I have lived, it is so wonderful to go back to the basics of “Who is God”, “The Bible”, and “The Church of Jesus Christ”. The class that you and George presented was wonderful and is truly an inspiration to me as I continue to study and read the information. Thank you for your leadership as we grow and my prayer is that God will continue to bless us as we pray for his guidance to reach families around us.
Everyone has trials in life whether it is the loss of a loved one or children that you feel are not following Christ in their choices in life. The Foundation Class gives you insight to where our wisdom comes from to deal with our trials, and assurance that God is in control and our strength comes from the close relationship we have with our Lord and Savior. Whether you are a new Christian or have been a Christian for many years the basics are what give us the foundation to build on and this class and the literature is something we all need.
